HEADHUNTERS SAYS: This is our favorite two hander reel. Just big enough for Steelhead in the 350-500 grain window. We love it on our Scandi rigs, and it has just enough mass to balance those longer rods. The drag functions perfectly for Steelhead and Atlantic Salmon fishing, and this reel is tough. When we throw it on the beach to leader a fish it doesn't flinch. It's also the right size for our two-handed trout rigs in 5 or 6. We occasionally use it for streamer fishing here in Montana, as well as Great Lakes Carp and Florida Keys Bonefish. Another great do-everything reel from Hatch.
